At Johns Island Post Acute, we value the relationships we have in our community, with our fellow colleagues, and also with residents and family members.We are currently seeking a housekeeper to join our expanding team!We offer:Competitive pay: $15 p/h401k matchingMultiple healthcare plans to select from with vision & dental (For Full Time)Advancement opportunities throughout our network in SCProfessional development opportunitiesSuccessful candidates will have the following:High school diploma or equivalentExperience in a Long-Term Care or healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essentialHousekeeping: Essential Duties:Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains and floors.Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.Maintain handrails to ensure they are clean and free of debris.Clean and remove dust, dirt or food off walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures. towel bars, towel dispensers.Empty trash cans and replace liners.Sweep and mop floors.Utilize proper safety measures when cleaning, including the use of caution signage and keeping supplies and chemicals out of reach of the residents.Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas in a safe, sanitary, clean and orderly manner.Excellent customer skills and positive attitude.Ability to work independently or with a teamAbility to pass a drug screen & federal background checkWe are an equal opportunity employer.
