This position is located in-office 5 days a week at our Central Store Support office (Rockville, MD). Design and develop software solutions to agreed requirements using a range of languages and technologies and follow coding best practices. Provide accurate reporting, develop tools, solutions and the systems that host and support them. Perform backend tasks (software, hardware) to ensure the data warehouse is operating optimally. Create and/or maintain tools that improve productivity for CSS departments and Stores. Create and/or maintain user documentation for MOM's business application/tools. Provide technical assistance/advice for troubleshooting on software related to Inventory management, Point of Sale (POS), scales and other back office systems. What we look for: Bachelor's in related field or equivalent experience and education 2+ years' experience in application/software development Intermediate level math skills (Algebra to Precalculus) Previous experience with coding (specifically Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Standard SQL, Python, Machine Learning frameworks, prompt engineering) Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac OS and Windows OS Previous experience in Grocery Retail Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems Experience in a fast-paced work environment Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $82,000. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications and competencies.
