Personal Lines Underwriter / Sales Representative – Homeowners Specialist
South Florida Insurance Agency – Full Time

We are seeking a licensed 220 agent to take the lead in running our fast-paced Homeowners Department . This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented, and outgoing professional to join a growing agency and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Rewrite policies that are non-renewed and review coverages at renewal.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy term.
Review coverages with clients, discuss mitigation credits, and identify opportunities for coverage improvements.
Call insureds and mortgage companies regarding renewals and updates.
Cross-sell all other personal lines
Handle mortgage changes and work directly with underwriters to resolve missing information or documentation requests.
Provide carriers with renewal information as needed.
Manage billing inquiries and confidently answer all homeowners insurance questions.

Qualifications:

Active 220 license required.
Proficiency with Citizens and major South Florida carriers.
Strong understanding of billing systems and underwriting procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Highly aggressive, outgoing , and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment .
Prior personal lines / homeowners' insurance experience preferred.
