MRI Technologist

The role is a full-time MRI Technologist based near Wichita, KS. The technologist performs high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostics. The position supports a patient-focused, collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Screen patients for contraindications and monitor safety during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment for optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostics
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Educate patients on procedures and address concerns
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• ARRT (MR) certification required within a specified timeframe
• Active Kansas state licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframe
