Pridestaff is currently seeking a  Shipping & Receiving Clerk  for a metal manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time position with potential for hire. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Pay Rate: $19 - $20
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm

Roles and responsibilities:

• Works with production control and other departments to coordinate daily shipments. 
• Obtains quotes for domestic and international shipments for sales department. 
• Sets up shipping coordination and forwarders as needed for customers’ orders. 
• Responsible for using and inputting into Shipping Computer System (STARSHIP). 
• Uses a forklift and/or other equipment to load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient

manner. 

• Responsible for physically preparing shipment orders, re-packaging, labeling, etc. 
• Verify inbound shipments to ensure total quality and accuracy. 
• Receives and puts away raw material and finished goods into rack locations. 
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse area. 
• Responsible for maintaining adequate supply of shipping and receiving supplies. 
• Assists in supporting warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. 
• Supports a culture of safety, urgency, accountability, and teamwork. 

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma 
• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in shipping/receiving process 
• Knowledge of working with ERP system such as SAGE 
• Experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift and have a valid OSHA Forklift certification 
• Must work well in team environment 
• Must have good communication skills 
• Must possess a high level of accuracy 
• International Shipping experience preferred 
• Hazardous Material handling experience preferred 
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
