New York Licensed Child Psychiatrist

To support a growing virtual Behavioral Health Program, a part-time New York Licensed Child Psychiatrist will diagnose and assess mental health disorders in pediatric and adolescent patients, provide medication management and counseling, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, all while working remotely for 20 hours or more per week. Key responsibilities Diagnose and assess mental/behavioral health disorders and formulate treatment plans Prescribe medications and provide both medication management and counseling to patients Collaborate with therapists and medical leadership to discuss and modify patient treatment plans Required qualifications MD/DO with active New York medical license and valid DEA license Board eligible or board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry Experience in psychopharmacology management Valid Medicaid number in New York preferred Experience working specifically with children and adolescents
