Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

The Material Handler works in a clean, climate-controlled pharmaceutical warehouse, supporting warehouse associates by preparing and delivering all necessary packing materials for outbound orders. This role focuses on ensuring that both ambient and cold chain shipments are properly supplied with the correct packaging components so orders can be processed accurately and on time.

• Support warehouse associates by preparing and supplying packing materials such as cooler boxes, frozen gel packs, labels, and other packaging components needed for outbound shipments.
• Ensure all necessary materials are available at packing stations so warehouse associates can properly package products for shipment.
• Handle both ambient and cold chain orders by providing appropriate packaging materials based on product and shipping requirements.
• Use pallet jacks and general material handling equipment to move supplies and materials safely throughout the warehouse.
• Pick and stage packing materials in advance to support a steady workflow and minimize delays in order processing.
• Replenish packing stations regularly and maintain organized storage areas for packing supplies.
• Lift and move materials, occasionally up to 30 lbs, while following safe lifting and handling practices.
• Work closely with warehouse associates and leads to respond quickly to material requests and changing order volumes.
• Move in and out of refrigerated areas as needed to retrieve and deliver materials for cold chain orders.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area in compliance with pharmaceutical warehouse standards.

• Experience working as a warehouse worker or in a similar warehouse or material handling role.
• General labor and material handling experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks safely for moving materials.
• Experience with picking and staging materials to support warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs as needed.
• Comfort working in and around refrigerated areas as part of daily tasks.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the correct materials are supplied for ambient and cold chain orders.

• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with packing materials for cold chain shipments, such as cooler boxes and gel packs, is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling varying work volumes from hundreds to several thousand orders.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with warehouse associates and leads.

This role is based in a climate-controlled pharmaceutical warehouse with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule on the closing shift from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM. You will receive two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch each day. The work involves handling a high volume of orders, ranging from approximately 700 to over 7,000, including both ambient and cold chain shipments. You will stand for the majority of the shift and regularly move throughout the warehouse, including going in and out of refrigerated areas to supply materials. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and handling standards while using pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.10 - $18.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Lewisville,TX.
