• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour evening shift, 10:30 AM–9:00 PM, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
• On-Call: Required, up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
• Holidays: Required if the holiday falls on a scheduled workday
• Floating: May float to all ORs
• Orientation: Comprehensive new employee and nursing orientation provided
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

Job Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Strong scrub experience required
• Experience with DaVinci robotic cases preferred
• Experience with large head and neck, neuro spine, and ex lap cases preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Experience in ortho, general surgery, trauma, gynecology, urology, or plastics preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a busy operating room environment
• Support a wide variety of complex surgical procedures in a high-acuity perioperative setting
• Scrub and circulate for OR cases as needed
• Assist with robotic surgery, trauma, neuro spine, head and neck, and exploratory abdominal surgeries
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to promote efficient case flow
• Float across operating rooms based on staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced surgical setting
