In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to ensure quality, quantity, and efficiency standards are met./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliSet up and operate tools, machinery, and equipment according to instructions and specifications./liliSelect, place, and secure tools as needed./liliPlace and secure work pieces in the proper machine table, holding device, or other suitable surface using clamps and wrenches./liliVerify the quality performance of each machine by observing its operation./liliAdjust necessary controls to regulate machines performance and inspect tooling for damage or wear, making repairs or replacements as necessary./liliDetermine whether machinery is functioning properly based on specifications for expectations such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed rates./liliReport any issues or problems to the immediate supervisor./liliAct as a department communicator during status meetings, management updates, and shift changes./liliMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety./liliEnsure work is done safely, consistently, and meets quality standards./liliIdentify, tag, and remove non-conforming materials./liliAccurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner./liliCommunicate with other departments as necessary./liliKeep work areas clean and organized./liliAdhere to all company rules and policies./liliPerform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor./li/ulpRequirements:/ppThis position requires:/pulliStrong knowledge of machining principles and practices./liliExcellent communication and teamwork skills./liliThe ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure./liliA high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality./li/ulpBasic math skills and proficiency in standard measuring tools/p/div
