We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to manage day-to-day customer interactions, ensure smooth order processing, and support our inside and outside sales engineers.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction Always maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers.Bring strong communication skills and a tenacious, solution-oriented attitude.Act with a passion for action, always striving to serve the customer – even if it's 'not your job'Answer incoming phone calls and route as requiredAdvise engineering/sales staff and management of any customer issue or vendor issues, working together to provide resolutionOrder Processing Monitor customer service email & forward new POs to inside sales staff for entryProvide accurate, valid and complete customer support for all inquiriesTrack and manage orders using our ERP system (Made to Manage), including: Review all orders for accuracy (quantities, ship-to, bill-to, product codes, due date)Send order acknowledgement to customer and any revisions thereafterMaintain delivery status updatesUpdate ERP and Customer with any status changesVendor Coordination Follow up with Vendors on purchase ordersConfirm vendor acknowledgements for accuracyExpedite orders, as needed, to guarantee delivery dates are maintainedDetailed order entry and reviewAdministrative Support Assist with coordination of daily shipping, including: Receive in UPS and Freight shipmentsVerify shipment for accuracyReceive goods into ERP systemSet up daily outgoing shipmentsCalculate inbound freight, as necessaryFile all documents and order paperworkAssist with maintaining Vendor and Customer data in business systemProvide backup support for team members and other duties, as assignedEducation and Experience ProfileProfessional verbal and written communication skillsComputer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.Quick to learn and/or proficiency in ERP systems (Made to Manage)Basic reading, writing, and math skillsAssist with accounting functions, as requiredAssist with maintaining office suppliesCandidate AttributesStrong attention to detail and accuracyTeam-oriented with a proactive mindsetThrives in a fast-paced, growing companyEagerness to learn and take ownershipBenefitsCompetitive Base Salary and annual bonusCompany-subsidized Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life/Disability Insurance, HSA/FSARetirement plan (401k) with net 4% employer match, plus 5% discretionary profit share planAbout Holland Group LPE is part of Holland Group, a private, family-owned group of businesses with locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Massachusetts, & Pennsylvania.
