UK Corporate/M&A Lawyer for Legal AI Evaluation [Remote]

Role Overview

Apply your UK corporate and commercial law expertise to evaluate how two AI systems respond to real legal questions. You will compare responses side by side, assess their quality using a provided rubric, and deliver clear written feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the same set of prompts through two AI language-model platforms.
• Compare each platform''s responses side by side.
• Score every response against the standardized evaluation rubric provided.
• Submit concise written feedback for each evaluation.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practise law in the United Kingdom, with strong knowledge of UK corporate and commercial law.
• At least 2 years of primarily law-firm experience in corporate/M&A or transactional practice, with 3 or more years preferred.
• Current in-house lawyers are eligible only if they moved in-house within the past 2 years and previously gained their relevant experience at a law firm.
• Native or fluent English and precise written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow a rubric, and meet deadlines.

Work Terms

• Remote, for candidates based in the United Kingdom.
• Hourly independent-contractor engagement.
• Initial commitment of approximately 10 hours, with potential for additional work.
• All work is subject to a nondisclosure agreement.

Compensation

£150 to £160 per hour.
