The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenue within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.Job DescriptionCustomer Service & Order FulfillmentProvide friendly, professional service to customers, drivers, and contractorsAssist customers with locating products and building materials throughout the yard or warehouseHelp customers load and unload materials safely and efficientlyAnswer customer questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members when neededEnsure a positive customer experience through professionalism and teamworkMaterial Handling & Yard OperationsPull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficientlyReceive, organize, and store building materials in designated yard and warehouse locationsAssist with loading and unloading trucks, deliveries, and transfersVerify quantities and product accuracy before loading or shipmentSupport inventory organization and material flow throughout the facilityEquipment OperationOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training and certification provided where applicable)Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concernsFollow all equipment operating procedures and company guidelinesYard Maintenance & SafetyMaintain clean, organized, and professional yard, warehouse, and storage areasMonitor racks, storage locations, and work areas to ensure materials are safely storedIdentify and report hazards, damaged materials, or unsafe conditionsFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsPromote a safety-first culture and support overall operational excellenceTeam CollaborationWork closely with yard personnel, warehouse staff, drivers, sales teams, and managementSupport daily operational goals and customer service objectivesAssist with additional yard, warehouse, and operational duties as assignedQualificationsStrong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills with a positive, dependable, and safety-focused attitude.Previous experience in a lumberyard, warehouse, building materials, construction, or similar environment preferred.Experience pulling orders, loading materials, and handling inventory; basic math and measurement skills required.Forklift or material-handling equipment experience preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain required certification.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment and safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50–75 lbs.Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift and work in varying weather conditions; occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.CompensationPay: $20-$25/hourHealth Care BenefitsPaid Time OffQXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
