Retail Merchandising Support Associate, Somerset Collection - Full Time Location: Troy, MI, United States Schedule: Full time Pay: $15.00 - $19.51 per hour (based on job, location, and schedule) Job Description As a Merchandising Colleague – also known as a Front of House Colleague – you’ll play a critical role in delivering a seamless, inspiring in-store experience. Your responsibilities include executing merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhancing the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintaining well‑organized, shoppable displays, and ensuring accurate, up‑to‑date pricing and promotional signage. As a customer‑facing employee you will greet customers with genuine hospitality, provide assistance, and create a welcoming environment. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet shared goals and support sales is essential. Responsibilities Deliver a seamless in‑store experience by executing merchandise movement and placement strategies. Enhance the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintain well‑organized and shoppable displays. Ensure accurate, updated pricing and promotional signage. Provide customer assistance, greet customers, and create a welcoming environment. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet shared goals and support sales. Update mannequins, reset floor layouts, and align presentation with company directives. Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and fitting rooms, replenish signage and merchandise. Promote the Loyalty program, assist customers with transactions using point‑of‑sale technology. Who You Are Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Excellent communication skills – able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors. Read and comprehend employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English. Create connections with customers to support store sales goals and participate in sales‑boosting events. Foster a welcoming, friendly environment with meaningful conversations. Know store products and provide expert guidance to customers based on their needs. Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits. Use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience. Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to drive sales and elevate customer experience. Meet daily sales goal challenges. Essential Physical Requirements Ability to talk, lift, constantly move, stand, and reach with arms and hands. Stand for at least two hours at a time, lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders, reach above eye level. Require clear vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment. Use computers and other technology (handheld equipment, cash register, ability to process register transactions).
