divh2Team Leader, Transportation Operations/h2pThe Team Leader, Transportation Operations will oversee the Distribution Center to include warehouse and logistics responsibilities. They will report to the site Distribution Center Manager to ensure timely and accurate operations for the site. Provide support for customers and site employees to proactively address concerns and solve complaints./ppThis job contributes to organizational success by:/pulliDaily duties include overseeing all daily activities, assigning staff duties/liliResponsibility for the facility to ensure functioning to the applicable regulations and company SOPs/liliOverseeing company vehicles and ensuring operating in compliance with US DOT regulations/liliGuiding and motivating associates to enable them to work together and ensure theyre delivering excellent customer service/liliInstill a safe working environment mindset/liliRespond to off-hour emergency calls when needed/liliProcess, pick and stage customer orders, track shipments and answer inquiries on a timely basis, to ensure transport expectations are met/liliDrive delivery routes as needed/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpJob Requirements:/pulliCDL-C minimum requirement w/DOT medical card/liliExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities under extremely busy conditions/liliStrong knowledge of computer and data entry processes; Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook/liliProfessional communication skills required must be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels and be able to build interpersonal relationships/liliKnowledge, familiarity and experience with inventory planning controls preferred/liliDesire to learn and perform new responsibilities/liliAble to lift up to 50 pounds/liliMust be willing to work various shifts as needed/liliForklift experience preferred/liliKnowledge of or ability to learn DOT rules and regulations preferred/liliOne year of transport experience/liliExperience with Samsara preferred/li/ulpThe salary range is $26.44 -$28/hr.
