Description

• Assess patients within an inpatient or outpatient environment and develop tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize treatment outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic targets, discharge processes, and home exercise routines
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility standards and regulatory requirements
• Engage in multidisciplinary rounds and care team meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not essential

Skills

• Previous experience highly preferred
