Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Critical Care Unit

Full-Time, 36 hours/nights (three 12-hour shifts with one weekend per month)

Summary:

The primary function of the advanced practice provider (APP) in Critical Care is to provide and manage care for CCU patients under the clinical supervision of the Critical Care Medical Staff. He/she will work collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants (MAs), and front-desk staff to support patients in the Critical Care Unit (CCU).

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSN, Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree Program or Physician Assistant Program
• Current BLS Certification
• 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a CCU field
• Obtain and maintain privileges at Middlesex Health

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a CCU field
