Instrument and Controls Specialist

Application Software Network security and user management Maintaining configuration object libraries and standards Alarm Management Alarm attributes Record logging systems Control Loop Tuning Development and maintenance of control loop functional specification. Prepare control strategy documentation and loop drawings by some means such as a SAMA diagram and or logic block diagrams. Control System Loop Performance Management Utilize loop performance monitoring techniques and tools such as Insight to detect degradation in loop performance proactively. Control Valve and Instrumentation Work with E&I technicians to develop and optimize PM’s Utilize online monitoring tools such as ValveLink to aid in planning outages and preventing unplanned downtime. What We’re Looking For Associates degree in engineering or similar technical field In lieu of degree, 5+ years in Automation Systems experience will be considered Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing or chemical environment Experience in Safety Instrumented Systems (ISA 84/IEC 61511). Experience with HMI configuration and DCS/PLC configuration.
