Speech Language Pathologist

Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (feeding experience preferred) Location: 1101 Ridge Rd, Rockwall, TX 75087 Position Type: PRN or Part-Time Start date: Earliest January 2027 (flexible with start date though) Company Description: Horizon Pediatric Therapy is a growing private practice pediatric clinic dedicated to provide the highest quality comprehensive care to children birth to 21. We at Horizon Pediatric Therapy are dedicated to providing professional speech, language, and myofunctional services to pediatric individuals. We believe in creating personalized treatment plans to improve communication, language, and social skills. Role Description: We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This is a W2 role, the SLP will be on-site at our Rockwall, TX location, and the hours are flexible. The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing play and evidence-based therapy to young clients. The SLP will also work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and caregivers to ensure successful communication outcomes. Scheduling is flexible as we focus on quality over quantity — we are for a minimum of 7 hours a week, with plenty of room to grow your caseload as much as you would like. Qualifications: Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with a pediatric population (preferred) Pediatric feeding experience (preferred) Ability to create personalized treatment plans and deliver effective therapy to clients with a wide range of communication and language disorders Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with accurate and timely EMR documentation Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education Ready to begin work in January 2027 - flexible start date CPR certified / Pass background check Ideal Candidate: We're hoping to find an SLP who brings genuine warmth and energy to their work with kids, and who's just as invested in their progress as we are. Background in sensory-based feeding difficulties, oral-motor therapy, or working with medically complex children is a nice bonus, though certainly not expected of every applicant.
