No Location Hutchings Psychiatric Center 620 Madison St. Syracuse, NY 13210 Responsibilities Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical staff regarding individuals’ treatment goals and objectives Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and practice standards Conduct audits and inspections of pharmaceutical inventories, storage, and records Prepare pharmacy budgets and monitor expenditures Qualifications Hutchings Psychiatric Center is recruiting a Pharmacy Manager to oversee and manage its pharmacy program. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years of professional post-licensure experience as a Pharmacist, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity in a pharmacy‑related setting Eligible for the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program or a competitive class appointment on the Pharmacy Manager eligible list, or eligible for transfer to a competitive class position with one year of permanent competitive or 55‑b/55‑c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law A non-competitive promotion examination may be conducted for the position under Section 52.7 of the Civil Service Law; permanent appointment may be made by non-competitive promotion of an applicant who meets the position’s minimum qualifications and non-competitive promotion requirements Promotion field for the Pharmacy Manager position consists of candidates who have 1 year of permanent service as a Pharmacy Supervisor Benefits NYS medical, dental, & vision insurance Access to tuition assistance programs Excellent opportunities for advancement & professional growth Paid time off: 13 paid vacation days in the first year, 5 paid personal days, 13 paid holidays, & paid sick leave NYS Retirement programs Employment Conditions If you fail to maintain your license and/or registration once you are appointed, action will be taken to remove you from the position.
