Diagnostic Technician

Responsibilities Mechanically inspect vehicles for safety and drivability, documenting findings in the inventory management system. Collaborate with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall quality. Perform advanced automotive repairs, mastering cooling, braking, charging, steering/suspension, AC, and electrical system components. Identify and complete repairs effectively the first time to minimize re‑work and production delays. Test‑drive repaired vehicles to confirm issues are resolved. Work in ways that reduce the risk of injury to yourself and other team members by managing spills and hazardous conditions. Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing light to medium line work, including brakes, engine, steering/suspension, cooling, AC, and electrical. ASE certification is a plus but not required. Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate in a high‑functioning environment. Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Vocational/technical degree or professional experience equivalent is acceptable. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum age of 18 years. Ability to own and manage personal tool set. Proficiency in English communication for a safety‑sensitive, technical environment. Capability to work on all makes and models, including domestic, European, and Asian vehicles.
