Position Summary

Adcock Furniture & Design is seeking a Retail Sales & Design Consultant to join our team.

This position is primarily focused on retail sales, customer service, and relationship

building. You will work directly with customers to help them find furniture, décor, and

home furnishing solutions that fit their needs, style, and budget.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is motivated to learn, and takes pride in

providing an exceptional customer experience. While this position is sales-focused, Retail

Sales & Design Consultants also help identify customers who may benefit from our

professional design services and connect them with our Design Department when

appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with furniture, décor, and accessory selections

• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales process

• Generate and close retail sales opportunities

• Present both in-stock and custom-order product options

• Manage customer orders and provide status updates

• Coordinate payments, deliveries, and pickups

• Participate in product knowledge and sales training

• Build lasting customer relationships through professional service

• Identify opportunities to introduce customers to our Design Department when

additional design services may be beneficial

Schedule

• Full-time position

• Must be available to work most Saturdays

• Typical store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Retail Sales & Design Consultants are generally scheduled five days per week, with

one weekday off in addition to Sundays

• Closed on Sundays
