Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

Schedule
Block schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); Weekends required (blocks include Friday-Sunday).

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
- EMR: EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure effective and efficient sterile processing workflows including manual cleaning, equipment operation, and set/tray assembly.
- Perform sterilization monitoring using biological and chemical indicators.
- Handle various instruments and equipment, including case carts and implants.
- Maintain knowledge of instrumentation and endoscopy basics.
- Support specialties involving robotics and various surgical fields such as orthopedics and urology.

Compliance / Notes
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- Request time off rules: 6 days total or 3 consecutive days auto-approved; more requires approval.
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Background checks may require additional approvals.
- Scrub policy: Any color scrubs for general staff.
