Job Title: Data Governance Architect

Location(s): Dallas, TX or San Francisco, CA

(Hybrid: Onsite 4 days/week)

Summary:
Seeking a senior Data Governance Architect with deep expertise in establishing and scaling enterprise data governance programs. The role focuses on creating governance frameworks, data standards, policies, and architectural patterns that ensure data quality, security, compliance, and business usability. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams and drive governance adoption across the organization.



Required Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Management
• Proven experience designing and operationalizing enterprise data governance frameworks
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into data standards, policies, and governance processes
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data owners, stewards, architects, and engineering teams
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and change management skills
• Ability to drive alignment across diverse teams and influence organizational adoption of governance practices
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering capabilities

Domain Expertise:

• Must have solid retail apparel industry experience
• Strong understanding of customer journey data and business processes
• Product Development Lifecycle experience preferred
• Retail Supply Chain experience is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, or a related field
