Job Description

Position Title: Temporary Carpenter
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Temporary / Project-Based
Schedule: Full-Time Hours Available
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Carpenter to assist with residential and/or commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry experience, be dependable, work safely, and be able to complete projects with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry work, including framing, finish work, repairs, and installations
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and project plans
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other building components
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Previous carpentry experience required
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in various weather conditions as required

Qualifications

• No certifications required
• No formal education requirements
• Practical carpentry experience is preferred and will be considered in place of certifications

Compensation

• $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Opportunity for overtime based on project needs
