LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for one of our clients located in Stockton, California. The position is 100% in-office! The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, routine processing, document preparation, and customer account support. Responsibilities:

• Follow AR procedures and workflows meeting deadlines.
• Process customer invoices and statements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Direct deduction experience is preferred.
• Cash applications or collections experience involving short payments.
• Post and reconcile daily deposits to customer accounts.
• Contact customers for outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions.
• Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries.
• Keep up-to-date with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or collections
• Experience with a medium to large ERP preferred software package (SAP would be preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work & Excel - Intermediate)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma required but an Associate's Degree or Bachelors would be a nice to have but receivable experience is the main factor

Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
