Warehouse Forklift Operator

Warehouse Position

Warehouse Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Compensation: $19.15 to $22.90 / hour

Work Hours Available:

• 12 Hrs. Day Shift - 5:00 am - 5:00 pm *** Rotating Shift, Work Every other Weekend ***
• 12 Hrs. Night Shift - 5:00 pm - 5:00 am *** Rotating Shift, Work Every other Weekend ***
• 8 Hrs. Day Shift - Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• 8 Hrs. Night Shift - Monday to Friday - 5:00 pm to 1:30 am

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote safe work environment through personal actions
• Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner
• Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed
• Direct product to correct area in warehouse
• Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prefer 1 year of Forklift experience (specific standup or sit down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
• Familiarity with RFID
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Possession of a valid state driver's license preferred

• Ability to read numbers and labels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines
• Ability to safety lift up to 60 lbs. frequently
