What you'll bring:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in neuro and thoracic surgeries within a specialty setting
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in using Cerner electronic medical records system
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with case volumes of up to 55 procedures daily
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including early mornings and evenings on a 13-week rotation
• Knowledge of orthopedic, neuro, urology, general, and thoracic surgeries; experience with DaVinci XI robotic systems is highly preferred

Preferred skills:

• Previous experience in a 24/7 hospital setting
• Familiarity with neuro and thoracic surgical protocols
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to various surgical cases and assist surgeons across multiple specialties

Required education & experience:

• Certified surgical technologist (CST) credential or equivalent
• At least 2 years recent surgical technologist experience in related specialties

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and sterile technique
