WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE

The Wine Retail Associate is a sales-focused ambassador for Little Saint's wine program, responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences while driving retail wine sales in our Wine Lounge and Shop.

This role combines relationship-driven sales, guest education, merchandising, and operational support. Through thoughtful recommendations and genuine hospitality, you'll help guests discover wines they love while building confidence in exploring our carefully curated collection.

Working closely with the Wine Program Manager, you'll help grow retail wine sales, drive Cellar Club membership enrollment, maintain an inviting and well-stocked shopping environment, and create meaningful connections between guests, producers, and the Little Saint wine program. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys connecting with people, and is motivated by creating memorable experiences that translate into lasting guest relationships, wine club membership, and retail sales

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build relationships with guests and provide personalized wine recommendations that drive retail bottle sales and repeat visits
• Create exceptional guest experiences through genuine hospitality, active listening, and thoughtful wine guidance
• Support retail wine sales, including bottle purchases, gift selections, and take-home recommendation
• Merchandise retail shelves, displays, refrigeration units, and featured selections to create an inviting and visually compelling shopping experience
• Introduce guests to Cellar Club membership and help grow our community of engaged wine lovers through meaningful conversations and program education
• Confidently communicate the stories, producers, regions, and philosophies behind our wine selections in an approachable and engaging way
• Conduct some wine-by-the-glass and wine flight service
• Receive, organize, stock, and rotate wine inventory while maintaining accurate product placement and presentation standards
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and other operational wine program needs
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual standards throughout the Wine Lounge and Shop
• Support wine tastings, special events, Cellar Club experiences, and other guest engagement opportunities
• Build familiarity with Little Saint's food, beverage, and wine offerings to confidently guide guest experiences
• Collaborate with the Wine Program Manager and broader Little Saint team to support daily operations and uphold a culture of respect, kindness, and hospitality
• Embody Little Saint's values while contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHO YOU ARE

• 1+ years of experience in wine, retail, or beverage service; hospitality experience a plus
• Knowledge of wine regions, styles, and production; wine certifications are a bonus
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused personality
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Flexible availability, including the option to work additional shifts for events or busy days
• Computer proficiency for POS, inventory, and sales tracking
• Commitment to sincere hospitality, enthusiasm, and teamwork

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to regularly and continuously lift up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive motions
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching
