As a Peer Support Specialist – Intensive Peer Support Services (IPSS) , you’ll play a vital role in supporting children during some of their most challenging times. Your work will focus on providing companionship, emotional support, and a sense of security to young patients, ensuring they feel safe and cared for in a healthcare environment. This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Offering compassionate peer support to young patients in healthcare settings.
• Building trust and rapport with children to create a safe and comforting environment.
• Collaborating with the Care Team to ensure the well-being of each child.
• Providing emotional support tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Upholding the values of Inspired Achievers Academy in every interaction.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• At least 1 year of experience in a related role or field.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their emotional well-being.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with young patients and their families.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Care Team.
