Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
Apply professional and supervisory discretion in dynamic, fast-paced emergency room settings
Maintain all required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TEAM/CPI, NIH Stroke Scale) per facility policy
Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
EPIC electronic health record experience is required
Holiday time-off requests will not be approved during the contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior acute care facility experience
