Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Must complete documentation promptly and work well in a busy environment.
• Physical Therapist license in MD required to start.
• BLS required to start.
• HEP B required to start.
• TB required to start.
• Flu required to start.
• Tdap required to start.

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment.
• Flexible schedule with a mix of mornings and evenings.
• No weekends.
• Most days begin at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM and end at 7:00 PM.
• Fridays end by 5:00 PM.
• Floating is not required.
• Documentation system: NextGen.
• Patient population includes orthopedic, basic neurological, sports medicine, and geriatric patients.
• 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
• Expected productivity is 50–55 patients per week with billing greater than 205 QCU.

Damascus, Maryland offers access to both outdoor recreation and major metro destinations. The city sits near Little Bennett Regional Park and Black Hill Regional Park, and it is about 15 miles from Rock Creek Regional Park for hiking, boating, and trail access. Downtown Frederick is about 20 miles away and Washington, DC is roughly 35 miles south, giving travelers access to museums, dining, and entertainment. Damascus also connects to the Washington, DC region through nearby I-270 and MD-27, and the area offers a quieter suburban setting with convenient access to urban amenities.
