Overview: Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, and seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Technician Position: Pharmacy Technician Location: Louisville, KY Duration: 3-6 months+ temp-to-hire!!! Pay rate: $19/hr Note: ONSITE role. Work schedule: 40 hours/ week | M-F 2PM-10:30PM with potential overtime Important: KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License is REQUIRED, once hired, employees will be required to obtain a KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License JOB DESCRIPTION: Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center. Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving and shipping. Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals; and has the ability to work productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks. Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
