**Years of Experience Required:** - 2 years **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Certifications Preferred:** - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) **Experience Required:** - Charting System Experience: Cerner Powerchart required - Patient Ratio Experience: 2:1 **Experience Preferred:** - Trauma Level II Experience **Skills Required:** - Arterial line management - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - Chronic/Acute Renal failure - Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade - Continuous IV sedation - Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) care - CVA/Acute Stroke management - Care of Ventilated Patient - Infection Prevention - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Pulmonary edema care - Pulmonary embolism care - Respiratory failure management - Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - Ventilator Management **Other Requirements:** - COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - Valid state license must be pending or candidate must be willing to participate in the Aya licensure project - Travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility - Travel Experience: Not required, first-timers accepted - Modules: Up to 8 hours to be completed pre-start **Special Notes:** - The position may require floating to other units based on census and need. - Candidates are required to handle patients with complex needs and in a critical care setting. - Strong emphasis on compliance with professional conduct standards.
