Senior Golang Engineer Opportunity At PawChamp

PawChamp is an international IT product that helps dog owners build harmonious relationships with their pets through training and expert support. In 2025, we became the "Product of the Day" on Product Hunt, have a rating of 4.8 in the AppStore, and are present in 8+ global markets, continuing active expansion.

PawChamp is building its own A-class MarTech infrastructure and is looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to become its technical foundation. The main task is to develop an internal funnel builder: a platform where marketers can independently configure quiz funnels and launch A/B tests and new markets without developer involvement. In parallel, there will be integrations with advertising platforms, analytical pipelines, and automation of marketing processes.

The team is just forming: you will influence the architecture, processes, and approaches from day one. Direct communication with stakeholders, zero micromanagement.

What you will be doing:

• Designing and building a funnel builder—a tool that internal teams manage funnels without engineer involvement;
• Implementing AI solutions to automate business and engineering processes;
• Ensuring the reliability of production systems: monitoring, alerts, CI/CD, test coverage;
• Participating in the formation of architecture—your opinion influences technical decisions from day one;
• Closely interacting with stakeholders and the marketing team, understanding the business context and finding optimal technical solutions for real tasks.

What is important to us:

• 6+ years of experience in developing backend systems (4+ years of experience with Golang);
• Confident experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS;
• Experience working with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines in production;
• Understanding of the principles of building high-load systems: optimal solutions under load—your standard;
• SOLID, GoF patterns, clean code—not buzzwords, but daily practice;
• Experience covering code with unit and integration tests;
• Experience developing using AI-assisted coding and AI agents for production level;
• Results-oriented mindset: able to separate the main from the secondary and focus on business impact, not the process;
• Managing technical debt and maintaining a healthy balance between product development and refactoring.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python—an advantage when working with shared MarTech components;
• Experience with Growth, MarTech, AdTech platforms—a huge plus;
• Experience building SaaS solutions or internal tools.
