Become a vital member of our healthcare team in Des Moines, IA, where you will support mothers and their newborns throughout the labor and delivery process. This position demands proficiency in high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and both cesarean and vaginal deliveries. You will work in a vibrant environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1-2, ensuring that each patient receives focused and compassionate care.
- Deliver comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients
- Oversee antepartum, cesarean, and vaginal deliveries
- Administer medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
- Provide support across various campuses as required
- Document patient information using EPIC EMR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
- Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last year
- Current Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA)
