Patient Safety Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Safety Specialist supports the implementation and sustainment of a comprehensive patient safety program at the operating unit level. This role is responsible for monitoring safety events, identifying trends, supporting action plan execution, and promoting a culture of safety through frontline engagement, education, and participation in safety activities. The Patient Safety Specialist works collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders, Mission Partners, and interdisciplinary teams to support proactive identification of risks, ensure follow-through on safety improvement efforts, and enhance reliability in care delivery. **5 open FTE.
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree Experience: 2 years of healthcare experience including past participation in quality and safety committee, project work, or responsibility in investigating safety events Other Skills/ Knowledge:
