Details Emergency Department in a hospital setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds Mid-shift schedule: 12:30 PM – 1:00 AM 13-week contract Patient ratio of 1:4 No on-call or floating required EMR: Cerner (experience preferred) Scrub color: Navy Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training TNCC certification preferred Cerner EMR experience preferred Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required At least 2 previously completed travel assignments required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Valid driver's license required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months All certifications must remain valid for at least 30 days beyond the contract start date Additional Information Responsible for delivering patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and delegation skills appropriate to available staff One major and one minor holiday may be required RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position First-time travelers are not eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID #P-713224.
