Position: Registered Dental Hygienist

Hourly Rate: $42 to $50

We are seeking a quality-focused dental hygienist to join our expanding practice, which offers a supportive and relaxed work atmosphere. Our organization operates as a private Fee-for-Service dental clinic located in Schenectady, NY. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, a strong work ethic, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to teamwork. Punctuality and reliability are essential. An active Registered Dental Hygienist license is required for consideration.

• Part-time position available (Mondays)

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

• Educating patients on dental health, including tooth care and dietary advice
• Removing plaque and tartar through scaling and polishing
• Taking dental impressions and radiographs
• Applying preventive treatments such as prophylactic materials, antibacterial agents, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to combat tooth decay
• Conducting screening and monitoring procedures
• Experience in teeth whitening, fabricating night guards, and administering local anesthesia is a plus
