CNC Machinist ManufacturingMansfield, Texas Contract to Hire Aug 3, 2026 NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist in Mansfield, TX. -Background friendly- Shift: 1st shift, schedule 7a – 3:30p, Monday – Friday Pay: $20-$26/hour depending on experience We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our custom metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up, programming and operating CNC mills and lathes, with hands-on experience using YCM machines. This role involves producing precision components for one-off and small-batch custom projects, requiring a strong understanding of machining principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Key responsibilities include:Set up, program and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce custom metal partsRead and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings and machine instructionsSelect appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds based on material and job specsPerform first piece inspection and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracyMaintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as required by custom designTroubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs for efficiency and qualityCollaborate with engineers, designers and fabricators to meet project goalsDuties:Program CNC machines using G-code and conversational controls (experience with YCM preferred)Set up workholding fixtures, tooling, and machine parameters for each jobOperate vertical and horizontal mills, as well as manual CNC lathesInspect parts using calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring toolsDebur, clean, and finish machined components as neededNSC Staffing values our employees and is committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
