Tax Staff - Public

We are looking for a Tax Staff team member to join a public accounting team in Pennsylvania. This position offers the opportunity to support a range of tax engagements, contribute to planning initiatives, and work closely with both firm leadership and clients. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with business tax filings and can manage complex assignments with accuracy and professionalism.Responsibilities:• Prepare and complete a variety of tax filings for business and individual clients, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.• Partner with senior tax leaders to support the review of returns and address questions or revisions during the engagement process.• Contribute to tax planning efforts by gathering relevant financial information and helping identify practical strategies for clients.• Conduct technical research on tax matters to clarify filing positions and support compliance with current regulations.• Communicate directly with clients to collect documentation, discuss tax matters, and participate in meetings as needed.• Handle corporate and pass-through entity returns, including work related to Forms 1120S and 1065.• Use tax software and spreadsheet tools to organize data, prepare workpapers, and maintain efficient workflow management.
