Position Detail
- General Cardiology coverage needed
- Join a team of providers with APP support
- Unique schedules will be considered: 7 on/ 7 off -OR- 14 on /14 off
- ECHO, NUC, TEE
- Outpatient clinic along with inpatient consults
- Community based care
- Invasive and Interventional Procedures, and Cath Lab at sister hospital, Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde - 25min
- Working relationship with hospitalist team
Required
- North Carolina Medical License
- Completion of ACGME accredited residency and fellowship programs required

About Our Hospital and Health System
Harris Regional Medical Center is a 86-bed hospital located in Sylva NC, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast. With a long-standing reputation for excellent care, this fully accredited hospital has been providing care to western North Carolina residents since 1929. Harris offers five major service lines, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine, as well as many other areas of subspecialty care.
About Our Community
Sylva, NC is less than one hour west of Asheville and adjacent to the university town of Cullowhee, NC, home of Western Carolina University. Sylva and the surrounding area feature hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, and whitewater rafting and kayaking. Access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and the cultural legacy of Cherokee, NC. Jackson County is known as the official North Carolina Trout Capital with clear mountain streams running throughout the county. Mountain golf and snow skiing are also within a few minutes' drive.
