Entry Packaging Team Member - 12-hour shift days

As a Packaging Team Member, you’ll be at the center of our operation, helping ensure products are packaged safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Schedule 6:00am – 6:30pm, working 2‑2‑3 schedules (12‑hour shift days) Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay $22.60, plus quarterly bonuses. Sign‑on bonus of $1,000 ($500 after 90 days and $500 after 12 months). Responsibilities Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance – operate and troubleshoot basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts). Perform equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly. Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep packaging flowing. Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management – inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging; perform manual packing and palletizing; follow FIFO inventory methods; record shipments in SAP. Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance – follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies; maintain cleanliness and sanitation. Team Collaboration, Leadership & Training – assist team members, adapt to operational changes; contribute to productivity, safety, and quality goals; provide training, guidance, and feedback to teammates. Documentation, Communication & Continuous Improvement – accurately complete production paperwork, report issues to supervisors, record inventory transactions, shipments, and quality results in SAP; participate in 5S efforts. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; minimum 1 year of manufacturing or food production experience. Forklift certification preferred; required for advanced levels. Mechanical aptitude to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on packaging equipment. Proficiency in SAP and basic math; advanced levels require MII, WE systems and line‑huddle analysis. Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push heavy loads, and stand/walk up to 90% of shift; good hand‑eye coordination, 20/20 corrected vision, normal hearing and color perception. Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed. Must be 18+ years of age.
