Japanese Interpreter

Providing simultaneous interpretation and translation, the part-time Japanese Interpreter will support a global automotive team remotely during morning shifts, ensuring effective communication in meetings and translating documents as needed. Key responsibilities Deliver accurate simultaneous interpretation for department meetings Translate spoken statements and written materials between Japanese and English Provide document translation quickly when required Required qualifications Extensive experience in Japanese and English interpretation and translation Proficiency in simultaneous interpretation Fluency in both verbal and written Japanese and English Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience or at least 5 years of interpretation experience in lieu of a degree Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both languages
