Software Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• We need a strong grasp of programming fundamentals and core software development practices.
• You should be able to review, debug, and expand existing codebases.
• You must be comfortable building solutions by using documentation, open-source projects, and public resources while adhering to licenses and best practices.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
• Experience using Git or another version control tool is required.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills are essential.
• You should have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, SQL databases, REST APIs, WordPress development, AI APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, and AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.

• We will have you design, build, launch, and support high-quality websites for our company and clients.
• Youll turn mockups, reference sites, wireframes, and design concepts into working websites.
• We expect you to apply modern web design principles, including layout, typography, spacing, navigation, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Youll recreate or adapt reference site functionality and layouts while producing original, maintainable code and respecting intellectual property and licensing rules.
• Youll develop reusable components and templates so we can deploy websites efficiently across multiple clients.
• We will rely on you to work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, WordPress, and other suitable web technologies.
• Youll implement forms, calls to action, tracking, analytics, CRM integrations, scheduling tools, and third-party APIs.
• Youll optimize websites for performance, mobile usability, accessibility, SEO, and conversion.
• Youll troubleshoot and maintain existing client websites.
• Youll deploy sites and manage domains, DNS, hosting, SSL certificates, and basic production setup.
• Youll clearly communicate design, development, and implementation decisions to our founders and team members.
• Youll own website projects from initial handoff through testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
