Senior R&D Technician

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• 6+ years of experience in the medical device or biotech industry.
• Hands-on balloon catheter construction experience.
• Experience with medical device prototyping, assembly, and testing.
• Microscope experience.
• Cardiovascular catheter R&D and prototype development experience.
• Experience supporting design verification and process validation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build, modify, and troubleshoot catheter and delivery-system prototypes.
• Perform dimensional, mechanical, functional, and performance testing.
• Execute validation protocols and support test-method validation documentation.
• Support engineers with product design, process improvements, and troubleshooting.
• Perform catheter assembly processes, including bonding, welding, coating, crimping, and balloon processing.
• Support equipment calibration, maintenance, validation, and R&D lab operations.
• Assist with engineering changes, prototype tooling, and early manufacturing development.
• Maintain compliance with quality system requirements.
