Job Title: Information Systems Security Engineer ( ISSE)Job Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with PolygraphEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental US* * *The Opportunity:The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) shall perform technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.Responsibilities:Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environmentsParticipate as a security engineering representative on teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of IA architecture, systems, or system componentsParticipate as the primary security engineering representative for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and or integration of security networking, computing and enclave environmentsApply knowledge of AI policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environmentsInteract with the customer and other project team membersParticipate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system componentsSupport the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architecturesSupport security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk managementIdentify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government dataProvide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk managementPerform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirementsRecommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirementsQualifications:Required:Twelve (12) years’ experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity to include recent experience within the last five (5) years with Cybersecurity principles and technology, including:Access/controlAuthorization, identification and authenticationPKINetwork and enterprise security architectureBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or universityIn lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, five (5) additional years of ISSE experienceIAM Level I Certification requiredTS/SCI Poly required-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
