Cardiac Surgery PRN Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Piedmont Augusta Overview Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac Surgery team at Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. This opportunity involves providing excellent patient care to our surgical patients. This is a PRN opportunity working shifts as needed. Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services. Responsibilities Round on post‑op patients Provide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeon EVH and chest closure in the OR Thoracentesis and chest tube insertion and care Provide care to LVAD patients Benefits Comprehensive benefits package 401k with match Quality, Service and Reputation Qualifications Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience.
