Licensed Practical Nurse – CorrectionsReliable Health Care Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a supportive and team-oriented environment at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs, Nevada.Responsibilities include:Support Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) & Substance Abuse ProgramsCollect and report objective and subjective patient data to supervising clinical staffObserve and report changes in patient condition, symptoms, or behaviorAdminister prescribed medications safely and accuratelySecure, count, and document controlled substances per facility protocolDocument care provided and observations in accordance with facility standardsAssist with treatments, wound care, and therapeutic proceduresRespond to medical and psychiatric emergencies; provide CPR and first aidMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment; uphold infection control standardsParticipate in shift reports, handoffs, and team huddlesCollaborate with RNs, physicians, mental health staff, and support teamPerform other LPN-level duties as assigned by nursing leadershipMinimum Qualifications:Current Nevada LPN license in good standingCurrent BLS/CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)Minimum 2 years of experience as an LPN in a skilled nursing, inpatient, behavioral health, or correctional environmentExperience with Substance Abuse strongly preferredStrong communication skills and ability to document accuratelyAbility to respond professionally to acutely ill, agitated, or combative patients.Must pass required drug and background checks and meet Reliable employment standardsBenefitsHighly competitive payFull-time employees are eligible for health, dental, and visionPTO with annual increases401(k)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)CEU reimbursement and professional developmentAbout Reliable: Since 1991, Reliable Health Care Services has been supplying the private sector and government with highly qualified medical personnel.
