Technologist-Echocardiographer Registered
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments.
- Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
- Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established protocols/guidelines.
- Completes documentation as required to comply with policies and procedures.
- Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
- Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
- Completes assigned goals.
Specifications:
Experience:
- Recent experience as a Sonographer.
Education:
- Registered by ARDMS and/or CCI or new graduate who is waiting to take registry.
Training:
- Basic computer literacy skills.
Licensure:
- ARDMS/CCI or new graduate who will obtain required registry/certification with 12 months of hire.
