Process Safety Management Coordinator

Seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator to join our client's team in Southwest Ohio. You will provide technical process safety engineering support to clients, and support the design, construction, and operation of safe chemical production processes. Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator Tasks: Ensure facility safety through compliance with OSHA, PSM, and EPA Risk Management Plan (RMP) Champion and lead PSM programs Conduct internal PSM program audits and reviews Provide support to PSM processes (PHA, MOC, PSSR, and incident investigations) Establish goals for PSM programs and ammonia system improvements Determine and evaluate process hazards from process deviations Provide technical safety prevention and protection concepts and solutions for production plants Cooperate closely with customer relations, process technology, and engineering Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator Profile: Associate degree in engineering, process technology, occupational health and safety, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, operations, project engineering, environmental health and safety, or equivalent PSM experience RETA CIRO, OSHA 10-hour, and/or OSHA 30-hour certifications highly desired Knowledge and experience in general industry safety regulations Knowledge of relevant local regulations and industry standards Strong analytical skills, systematic and structured way of working Strong team and communication skills Initiative, sense of responsibility, and flexibility Ability to lead teams through the 14 supporting strategies of PSM or ability to shadow and learn Ability to travel to customer sites Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator Benefits: Bonus Potential - Based on company profitability Take home vehicle 401(k) program with company match Health insurance – Company sponsored Paid holidays Paid vacation time Life/Disability Insurance Local candidates preferred.
